The places I have lived and traveled to have influenced and inspired my art. The Texas Gulf coast—its waters and horizons—was the backdrop of my youth. During college, it was the rugged limestone hills and canyons of Central Texas. Then came Guatemala and Belize with their feast of exuberant color; Germany with its graceful roll and swell of hills; and the Sonoran Desert of Tucson with its dramatic light and vibrant color. Now, where I currently live—the Interior of Alaska—it is the way light returns after the blue moonlight of winter.

In 2001, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. While there, I had the good fortune to study under Gibbs Milliken. I have had exhibits, both solo and multi-artist, in Texas, Alaska, Arizona, and Germany. My paintings are part of private collections throughout the United States, Germany, and New Zealand.
